It's fair to say that the Walt Disney World monorail fleet has had its share of problems and incidents recently. The aging rolling stock has left guests hoping for an update to the "highway in the sky." But until then, Disney has introduced a refreshed interior for some of the trains!

Monorail Green and Monorail Silver debuted both new wall designs and new upholstery! The newly installed wallpaper has a vintage-inspired design that features the monorail train name, "Walt Disney World Monorail System," a subtle Mickey silhouette pattern, along with a color scheme that matches the monorail line.

To boot, the seats have been reupholstered from the plastic-y blue to a woven brown-gray. The seats have become slightly more plush than before, surely to make your journey on the monorail more comfortable!

The Walt Disney World monorail system opened in 1971. The current rolling stock has been in use since 1989. The current routes include Express, Resort, and Epcot.
