Legendary composer, John Williams, has received a GRAMMY nomination in the Best Instrumental Composition category for his work on the Galaxy's Edge score! The chill-inducing theme to the newest Disney land, officially titled "Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Symphonic Suite," sets the tone to transport you to Batuu in both Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Matt Walker, head of music for Walt Disney Imagineering:

“We wanted to create something that was new and unique, but we wanted something that belonged in ‘Star Wars,’ there is no other composer, as far as we were concerned, that could come in and create and truly support a sense of place.”

Interestingly, it was reported that Williams needed some convincing to sign onto the project. With 16 hours of Star Wars score that he has personally produced, he believed that there was already plenty of music to work with. But, in the end he did sign on for the project!

This is Williams' 71st GRAMMY nomination. His body of work includes other familiar scores including the Star Wars movie franchise, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Jurassic Park. His first GRAMMY win was in 1975 for the Jaws soundtrack.

The 61st GRAMMY awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, Feb. 10.
